About Your Stay:
CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT: Check-in time is anytime after 3 PM and check-out time is no later than 11 AM. Please contact us if you have any special circumstances.
BREAKFAST: At the Shaker Mill Inn, we're different from every other B&B in the area. How?
Your room includes a fully equipped kitchenette, the Greylock Suite has a full kitchen. Your room is already stocked with delicious breakfast goodies when you arrive that you can eat, at any time, in the privacy of your room. More or different breakfast food is always available when you need it, upon request. At no extra charge!
There are breakfast options such as, quiche, crème filled croissants, bagel breakfast sandwich and apple strudel. We also stock the room with oatmeal, cold cereal, yogurt, fruit and breakfast pastries. Some options are seasonal. We also include a variety of coffees, teas, hot chocolate, milk, juice and other goodies.
If you have any food preferences, allergies or restrictions, let us know at least 24 hours before arrival.
AVAILABILITY: There is a two-night minimum on weekends from November to June, and three night minimum on weekends from June to October. Selecting less than the minimum number of nights can make a room appear unavailable. Exceptions can be made, so please give us a call at 413-232-4600 to confirm availability. Some holidays may have minimum stay requirements also.
DEPOSITS: A 50% deposit (100% for one-night stays) is required at the time the reservation is made.
THIRD PARTY BOOKING SITES: If you book your reservation through a third party booking website, such as Expedia or Booking.com, please bring the credit card you used at the time of booking and identification. You are also beholden to the terms, conditions, and cancellation policy you agreed to upon booking with the third party website.
CANCELLATION POLICY: If you cancel more than 14 days before the reserved date, a complete refund will be issued less a $25 service charge per room. If you cancel within 14 days of the reserved date, your deposit can be used for a future reservation either by credit or gift certificate. This credit is valid for 12 months, a gift certificate is good for 7 years from date of issue. Guests who are a "no show" are liable for the entire cost of the reservation. Guests who check out before the last day of the reservation will be required to pay for the days reserved in full.
PETS: Pet fee is $35/stay for dogs and $40 for cats. Guests must ensure that their pets do not disturb other guests, and that all droppings are discarded in the flip-top containers that are located around the Inn property. Dogs are not to go outside your room without a leash. If you plan to leave your pets alone in your room while you are out, you must agree to stay within cell phone range so that you are available if any issues arise. Please let us know if you are in need of any pet sitting services and we can provide a recommendation. Guests will be responsible for any pet-related damages that occur.
EXTRAS: If there's a need to use a sleep sofa in your room during your stay, there will be an additional cost of $40/stay. We also provide beautiful Shaker Mill Inn mugs in every room which you can purchase. A late check out fee may be applied if you check out after 12:00 pm (This option is not available at this time).
