    Where in the Berkshires are you located? We are located in the Southern Berkshires, three miles away from the New York border in Western Massachusetts. What is close by to do? We are conveniently located near Tanglewood and the Norman Rockwell Museum. If you visit during the winter months, there are several ski resorts near by too such as Catamount Ski Resort or Butternut. If you visit during the summer, there are plenty of outdoor activities to do in the area, such as the Berkshire Botanical Garden. We also have a list of nearby attractions under the 'See & Do' section of our website. Are there hiking trails near you? Yes, we have several hiking trails near us. You can find a list of trails under the outdoor activities section under 'See & Do.' Is breakfast included? Yes! A continental breakfast is conveniently provided in your suite upon your arrival. Substitutions and special requests can be made as well. You can find more details under our amenities and policies page. Are there any restaurants near you? Yes, we have a couple in walking distance from the Inn and in surrounding communities. You can find a list of nearby restaurants here and in your guidebook in your room. Do you have seasonal rates? Yes, our peak season is June 1st - October 31st.
  • Pet Questions
    How many dogs can I bring? You can bring up to three dogs with you. There is a $40 pet fee per stay during your stay and you can find more details here. Can I bring my cat? Yes! We will allow no more than three cats. There is a $45 pet fee per stay. Is there a size limitation for my pet? No, but we do have a policy where pets should not disturb other guests. Guests should also be aware that they will be responsible for any damages in the room. Do you have dog sitters? No, but we can provide a recommendation for pet sitting services. Are there pet-friendly restaurants around? We provide free guidebooks in your room that list all restaurants in the area, including those that are pet-friendly! We also highly recommend visiting bringfido.com for a list of pet-friendly restaurants in the area. How many rooms are pet-friendly? 6 out of the 9 rooms we have are pet-friendly.   • Food Service Questions
    How does the continental breakfast work? We provide your continental breakfast in the mini refrigerator before you arrive, so you can enjoy it whenever you please the next morning. If you want breakfast but don’t want anyone to enter your room, we can help you arrange to receive breakfast for the next day. Are you vegetarian and vegan-friendly? Yes! We do consider special requests and are happy to provide alternative options. Please visit the amenities and policies page for more information. What if I do not want breakfast? No problem! Please let us know the day before you arrive that you will not need breakfast for the following day. What if I have food allergies or dietary restrictions? No problem! We will make accommodations if necessary. Just let us know in the "special requests" box when booking your reservation online or give us a call at least 24 hours in advance.

    What fire safety measures are in place at the B&B? We prioritize your safety with hard-wired, interconnected smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors installed in all guest rooms, hallways, common areas, and near sleeping areas, in compliance with Massachusetts law (MGL c. 148, § 26C). These devices are regularly tested for proper function. Additionally, easily accessible and regularly inspected fire extinguishers are located on each floor and in common areas. How do you ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of guest rooms and common areas? We maintain the highest standards of cleanliness throughout our B&B, especially in guest rooms and bathrooms. We implement a thorough cleaning and sanitization protocol between guests, focusing on high-touch surfaces, in accordance with MA Safety Standards. What precautions are taken regarding food safety, especially during breakfast service? If we are serving breakfast, we strictly adhere to all relevant health department regulations. This includes meticulous attention to proper food handling, storage, and preparation techniques to prevent foodborne illnesses, ensuring a safe and delicious start to your day. Is hand sanitizer available for guests? Yes, for your convenience and safety, alcohol-based hand sanitizer (at least 60% alcohol) is readily available in public areas for both guest and staff use, as recommended by MA Safety Standards. How are your staff trained to ensure guest safety and address concerns? Our staff undergoes thorough training on all safety protocols. This includes comprehensive cleaning and sanitation procedures, food safety (if applicable), and effective methods for addressing any guest safety concerns you may have. We also have clear communication channels and procedures in place for staff to report any safety hazards or incidents promptly.
