We hope everyone is staying safe and healthy during these unprecedented times. We hope to open back up to the public as quickly as we can, but until then, we will keep you updated on the businesses in our community.

We just learned this week that the Barrington Stage Company is postponing their 2020 summer season until 2021. However, they do want to provide an "alternate" season that follows social distancing guidelines to ensure the safety of the general public.

Here are more details:

The Mainstage will also host a Monday Night Concert Series, featuring jazz and cabaret singer Marilyn Maye (August 24), and singer/songwriter Ann Hampton Callaway performing “The Linda Ronstadt Songbook,” with Billy Stritch at the piano (August 31).

  • On September 5, the Mainstage will host a reading of Eleanor, a new one-woman play about the life of Eleanor Roosevelt by BSC Associate Artist Mark St. Germain, starring Tony Award-winner Harriet Harris (Thoroughly Modern Millie, Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella),
